Head Coach Dale Amyx
|
Dale Amyx begins his 18th
season as Varsity head football coach at Logan High School this season
and his 28th season as a football coach at LHS. Coach Amyx, who serves
as the defensive coordinator and also coaches the Offensive Tackles, won
his 100th career game in 2005. A Groveport High School graduate,
Coach Amyx earned his BS in Physical Education and Health and his MA in
Education Administration. Dale has tought Phys Ed at LHS for 28 years.
Dale and his wife Karen have two children, Nick a graduate of LHS and Adrienne
who will be in second grade. Coach Amyx goals don’t change much from
year to year, the expectations to win the SEOAL title and qualify for the
OHSAA State playoffs stay the same. |
Coach Kelly Wolfe
Offensive Coordinator

Kelly Wolfe will start his
17th season as a Varsity Football assistant this season. Coach Wolfe
is a 1987 graduate of Logan High School where he re-wrote the LHS rushing
records as a tailback. He earned his BA from Ohio Wesleyan and his
MA from Ohio University. Coach Wolfe teaches 7th grade math at the
Logan Hocking Middle School. Kelly and his wife Sheila have two children,
Jordan who is 9 and Danielle who is 4. |
Coach Bob Cassady
DBs, TEs

Bob Cassady will be coaching
on the LHS Varsity staff for the ninth season. Coach Cassady is a
1976 graduate of Logan High School where he wrestled and played football.
Bob earned his Masters degree from Ohio Northern where he also wrestled.
Coach Cassady has taught industrial arts for 23 years. Coach Cassady
and his wife Christine have 6 children, Bobby, Kristen, Loryn, Ryan, Kyle,
and Heather. |

Tight Ends, Def. Line
|
Coach Klump is in his
third season with the LHS coaching staff. The 1979 LHS graduate played
college football in California before returning to Ohio. |
