2005 Captains Announced


2005 LHS Football Captains Revealed at Picture Day
 
 
Kevin Call is a two-year lettermen and a two year starter.  Kevin played a utility role as a Soph, filling in along the defensive line.  Kevin Started at LB on the defense last season, and finished second on the team with 20 solo and 75 assisted tackles.  He also played TB on offense, gaining 550 yards on 76 carries while scoring 5 TDs.  Kevin was named to the SE Districe Special Mention list in 2004.
Justin Coakley is a two-year lettermen and two year starter on both sides of the football.  As a Sophomore in 2003, he finished second on the team in scoring with 48 points and second in rushing yards with 367.  He played a utility role along the D-line.  As a Junior in 2004 he led the team in rushing yards with 619 while starting at FB.  He also recorded 10 solo tackles and 50 assists from his linebacker spot. Justin was an All-SEOAL selection last fall.
Tyson Kratzenburg lettered as a Sophomore in 2003, but had to sit out the 2004 season due to academics.  He has returned in full force however, and will be seeing playing all over the field this fall. On defense, he'll be playing NG and DE, while on offense he can fill in at any of the offensive line spots.  Tyson's outgoing personality has made him a favorite among the underclassmen.
Bruce Lehman has lettered the last two seasons for the purple and white.  He earned a starting spot halfway through his Sophomore season, where he helped open holes for Austin Rohr during his record breaking Senior year.  Bruce has played both Center and Tackle for the Chieftains the last two seasons.  Bruce has been a quiet leader the last two seasons, and has earned the respect of his teammates with his efficient work on the gridiron.
