There are currently 7 LHS grads continuing their careers at the collegiate level. This fall, LF.com hopes to keep track of these seven players each week. Here is the week 11 edition.
Joey Conrad, Class of 2001 (Glenville (WV) State College)
Glenville State finished their season 9-2 by beating West Virginia
Wesleyan 38-10. Joey Conrad finishes the season having broken all
the major passing records in the WVIAC and with two national Division 2
records. Most passing yards and as the all-time leader in total offense.
Joey Conrad completed 31-40 passes for 427 yards and 2 touchdowns with
2 interceptions.
Jesse Henestofel, Class of 2001 and Jason Dicken, Class of 2003 (Muskingum
College)
Muskingum finished the season 2-8, falling 13-9 to Otterbein.
Jesse Henestofel recorded 11 tackles and recovered a fumble in his final game as a Muskie.
Derek Harden, Class of 2002 (The Ohio State University)
Ohio State topped Northwestern 41-7. Derek Harden started on
the kick-off team for the Buckeyes.
The Buckeyes will travel to Ann Arbor for The Game this Saturday against
Michigan. Kick-off is slated for 1:00 PM.
Matt Mong, Class of 2002 (University of Dayton)
Dayton ran over Butler 41-7 this last weekend. Matt Mong rushed
for 48 yards on 7 carries and scored a touchdown in his final game as a
Flyer.
Dayton finishes the season 9-1 and 3-1 in the PFL North.
Justin Pack, Class of 2005 (Ohio Dominican University)
Justin Pack will redshirt for the 2005 season after suffering a pre-season
ankle injury. Look for him to contribute with the Panthers in 2006.
Corey Spackey, Class of 2005 (College of Mount St Josephs (Cincinnati,
OH)
Look for Corey to contribute on the CMSJ JV team during the 2005 season
as he works toward earning playing time for the Lions in 2006.
