LoganFootball.com's Look at Chieftain Graduates Still on the Gridiron (Week 3, Sept. 11-18)

There are currently 7 LHS grads continuing their careers at the collegiate level.  This fall, LF.com hopes to keep track of these seven players each week.  Here is the week 3 edition.

Joey Conrad, Class of 2001 (Glenville (WV) State College)
Glenville State dropped it's WVIAC home-opener with Shepherd 34-13.  The Pioneers fell in a 20-3 hole at halftime, thanks to four first half turnovers.  Joey Conrad completed 29-56 passes for 267 yards.  However, Conrad was intercepted 4 times and did not throw a TD pass.  Conrad did run for Glenville's only touchdown, a four yard scamper.

Glenville fell to 2-2 on the season.  The Pioneers will travel to WVU-Tech this Saturday (24th).  Kick-off is slated for 1:00 PM.

Jesse Henestofel, Class of 2001 and Jason Dicken, Class of 2003 (Muskingum College)
Muskingum College lost their OAC opener at Wilmington 14-3.  Jesse Henestofel had 6 tackles for the Muskies, and also intercepted a pass in the loss.  Muskingum falls to 0-2 on the season.

Muskingum will host nationally ranked Ohio Northern University at 1:30 PM September 24th.

Derek Harden, Class of 2002 (The Ohio State University)
Ohio State upped it's record to 2-1 on the season, topping San Diego State University 27-6.  Harden did not see the field for the Buckeyes.

Matt Mong, Class of 2002 (University of Dayton)
The Flyers moved to 3-0 on the young season as they shut out visiting Austin Peay 46-0.  Matt Mong rushed for 12 yards on 4 carries.

The Flyers will travel to Moorehead State for their Pioneer Football League opener.  Kick-off is slated for 7:00 PM.

Justin Pack, Class of 2005 (Ohio Dominican University)
ODU fell to 1-2 with a loss at Seton Hill.  Seton got their first win in school history.  Logan's Justin Pack is still overcoming an ankle injury, and looks to get on the field soon.

Corey Spackey, Class of 2005 (College of Mount St Josephs (Cincinnati, OH)
Look for Corey to contribute on the CMSJ JV team during the 2005 season as he works toward earning playing time for the Lions in 2006.
