There are currently 7 LHS grads continuing their careers at the collegiate level. This fall, LF.com hopes to keep track of these seven players each week. Here is the week 4 edition.
Glenville moved to 3-2 on the season. The Pioneers will travel
to Fairmont State this Saturday (Oct. 1). Kick-off is slated for
6:00 PM.
Jesse Henestofel, Class of 2001 and Jason Dicken, Class of 2003 (Muskingum
College)
Muskingum fell to 0-3, as they lost to nationally ranked Ohio Northern.
Jesse Henestofel made seven stops for the Muskies and broke up a pass.
Jason Dicken still has not played this season for the Muskies.
Muskingum will host Baldwin-Wallace at 1:30 PM October 1st.
Derek Harden, Class of 2002 (The Ohio State University)
Ohio State upped it's record to 3-1 on the season, dominating Iowa
31-6. Harden saw the field for the first time as a receiver, and
had one pass thrown his way, but it was bounced in front of his feet.
The Buckeyes will be idle this week, and will travel to Penn State for
a night game on Oct. 8.
Matt Mong, Class of 2002 (University of Dayton)
The Flyers moved to 4-0 on the season as they picked up their second
road win, beating Moorehead State 42-7. Matt Mong rushed for 13 yards
on 5 carries and added a second quarter touchdown..
The Flyers will celebrate 100 years of football this Saturday when they host Jacksonville.. Kick-off is slated for 12:00 PM.
Justin Pack, Class of 2005 (Ohio Dominican University)
ODU fell to 1-3 with a loss to McKendree College. Logan's Justin
Pack is still overcoming an ankle injury, and looks to get on the field
soon.
Corey Spackey, Class of 2005 (College of Mount St Josephs (Cincinnati,
OH)
Look for Corey to contribute on the CMSJ JV team during the 2005 season
as he works toward earning playing time for the Lions in 2006.
