LoganFootball.com's Look at Chieftain Graduates Still on the Gridiron (Week 6, Oct. 2-Oct. 9)


There are currently 7 LHS grads continuing their careers at the collegiate level.  This fall, LF.com hopes to keep track of these seven players each week.  Here is the week 6 edition.



Joey Conrad, Class of 2001 (Glenville (WV) State College)
The Pioneers and Joey Conrad played their first game in Ohio since Conrad became a Pioneer.  The Pioneers didn't disapoint, routing Central State 50-20.

Conrad completed 31-43 passes for 416 yards and 6 touchdowns with only 1 INT.

Glenville moved to 5-2 on the season.  The Pioneers will host West Liberty State at 1:00 PM October 15th.


Jesse Henestofel, Class of 2001 and Jason Dicken, Class of 2003 (Muskingum College)
Muskingum lost to John Carroll 34-0 last Saturday.  Jesse Henestofel led the Muskie defense, recording 7 tackles, including 5 solo tackles.

Muskingum will host Capital at 1:30 on October 15, 2005.


Derek Harden, Class of 2002 (The Ohio State University)
Ohio State lost at Penn State 17-10.  Derek Harden made the traveling squad for the first time in his 2 years as a Buckeye.

The Buckeyes will host Michigan State at noon on October 15th.


Matt Mong, Class of 2002 (University of Dayton)
The Flyers moved to 6-0 on the season as they topped Drake 25-17.  Matt Mong rushed for 14 yards on 4 carries and scored the Flyer first and last touchdowns.

The Flyers will host San Diego for a PFL game.  Kick-off is slated for 1:00 PM.


Justin Pack, Class of 2005 (Ohio Dominican University)
ODU fell to 1-5 with a loss to second ranked St. Francis (PA).  Logan's Justin Pack is still overcoming an ankle injury, and looks to get on the field soon.


Corey Spackey, Class of 2005 (College of Mount St Josephs (Cincinnati, OH)
Look for Corey to contribute on the CMSJ JV team during the 2005 season as he works toward earning playing time for the Lions in 2006.
