Former Logan quarterback Corey Spackey will play football at Mt. St. Josephs.  Spackey, a two-year starter and a member of last fall's SEOAL Championship squad will continue his playing career with the Lions.  Mt. St. Joseph's program is a newcomer, with only 15 years of Varsity football.  However, the Division III school went 10-0 during the regular season last fall..

Corey was a 2-year starter at quarterback for the Purple and White, and started all 20 games his Junior and Senior seasons.  During the 2004 march to the SEOAL Championship, Spackey passed for 1297 yards while completing 104 of 185 passes.  He tossed 15 touchdowns compared with 10 interceptions.  His 104 completions, 185 attempts, and 15 TD passes were all good enough for 3rd all time at LHS, and the 1297 yards was good enough to place him 6th all-time.  During the 2004 game with Lancaster, Spackey completed 21 passes, which tied him with Keith Myers at number 1 all-time in a single game.

For Corey's career, he completed 184 passes (4th all-time) in 335 attempts (5th all-time) for 2112 yards (5th all-time).  He threw 17 TD passes in his career, tied with Scott Gasser for 4th all-time.

Corey, a finalist for the 2004 Gridiron Glory Player of the Year, will compete with 4 other QBs for playing time at Mt. St. Josephs.

Congrats to Corey from the staff at Logan Football Dot Com.!
