Derek Harden named Ohio State Special Teams Scout Team Player of the Week

Derek Harden, a 2002 Logan High School graduate and walk-on at The Ohio State University, was named special teams scout team player of the week by The Ohio State University Coaching Staff.

While at Logan, Harden set school records for rushing yards in a season (1670 in 2000), carries in a season (280 in 2000), touchdowns in a season (28 in 2000), rushing touchdowns in a career (50, 1999-2001), most touchdowns in a single game (6, 2001), and is the all-time career scoring leader at LHS with 300 total points in his career.

At Ohio State, Derek is an engineering major and a wide receiver with the Buckeyes.
