Former Logan LB/RB Justin Pack signed his letter of intent to play football for Ohio Dominican this week. Pack, a captain of the 2004 SEOAL Championship squad will continue his playing career with the Panthers. Ohio Dominican played it's first season of football at the NAIA level last fall, finishing 0-10.
Pack was a 2-year starter at Linebacker for the Purple and White and played tailback during his senior season. During the 2004 march to the SEOAL Championship, Pack led the defense by recording 32 solo tackles (1st), 93 assists (1st), 8 tackles for loss (1st), 2 sacks (7th), 3 forced fumbles (2nd), and 2 fumble recoveries (1st). On offense Pack led the Chiefs in carries with 117 and was third on the team in total rushing yards with 536. He averaged 4.6 yards per carry and scored a team high 8 touchdowns. Pack also caught 12 passes for 47 yards and finished second on the team in scoring with 48 points.
Pack is being recruited as an athlete for the Panthers. Pack told the staff of LoganFootball.com that he could end up playing offense or defense. He hopes to put on a little bit of weight and play linebacker, but he could also play strong safety.
