2025 LHS Football Coaching Staff

Head Coach Jimmy Peyton

Jimmy Peyton was named Logan High School's 34th head football coach in 2025. A native of Ironton, OH, he was the quarterback on the Tigers' state runner-up team in 1999 and later led Joliet Jr. College to a national championship.

He served as a Ranger in the United States Army for 9 years before returning to the football field.

He has successfully coached in both the high school and college levels with previous head coaching stops at Missouri Military Academy and Warren HS.

At MMA, he led the school to it's first winning record since 1986 and led Warren to its first outright league title since 1985. He has a 20-19 overall record as a head coach.

Peyton will live in Logan with his wife and son, James.
