Only a 'W' in the win column will suffice for Chiefs

After coming close last week at Meigs, Logan travels to state-ranked Cambridge seeking elusive first victory

LOGAN — Three games deep into their football season, the Logan Chieftains aren’t satisfied with mere moral victories.

For various reasons, they’ve had a couple of those the past two weeks… but while they’ve improved with each and every game, they’ve also reached a point where, in the end, nothing but an actual “W” in the win column will suffice.

The Purple & White (0-3) seek victory numero uno this week against a team that is, unexpectedly, a state-ranked squad.

The first state rankings of the young season came out on Monday, and the Cambridge Bobcats (3-0) found themselves rated No. 13 in Division IV by The Associated Press.
