Slowly but surely, Chiefs gaining much-needed experience

Logan travels to Meigs Friday night in search of season's first points as well as first victory

LOGAN — For a young team with a lot of learning to do, the old adage of taking things one game at a time isn’t just a cliché, it’s a fact of football life.

This Friday’s game at Meigs certainly falls into that category for the Logan Chieftains.

“We’ve taken these previous two games in phases,” revealed Logan coach Billy Burke. “Game one was totally a learning experience and what it feels like (to play a varsity game). Game two was to look at the success that we can have when we execute and play hard.
